Would they listen?

Saw an interview with the producer of the film "Waiting on Superman" and Michelle Rhee which I mentioned to a teacher in the store.  One comment she made that struck me, "I know our system is in a mess right now, if they would only listen to us teachers!"  Sounds like a great starting point to me.
